Pastor’s Preview for January 24, 2016

Hi Friends,

Last Sunday we were encouraged by the truth that God takes us dead in our sin – the walking corpses of the world – and he makes us alive in Jesus. We heard the good news that God breathes new life into us and revives us so that we can experience real life with him. If you happened to miss the message you can always listen or watch them at our website – – under the Media tab.

This coming week we reach the middle of our series – You Were Made for This – and we’ll explore the fact that after God chooses us and makes us alive in Jesus, He calls us to be one body. God designed you and me, members of His church, to be united. But often this unity isn’t easy. It can be hard for us to work together as the church. As you look toward Sunday I encourage you to read through our text: Ephesians 3:14-21. Together we’ll hear how God helps us reach that harmony.

Also, this past Sunday we introduced our new Book of the Quarter – Daring Greatly – by Brené Brown. If you missed the introduction you can catch the video clip here. Together we’ll walk through the book as we explore how God created us to take risks, to expand our horizons, to try even though we might fail, to dare greatly. He has chosen us. He has made us alive. In Him we can dare greatly. Copies are available at the ministry center for $5. I hope that you’ll join us as we read this book together.

Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Nate
