Happy New Year!
2016 promises to be a great year here at Fuller and this Sunday we’ll begin a new 5 part series of messages called You Were Made for This. We’ll walk through the book of Ephesians and hear the good news that God created each of us with a unique purpose. He made you and He me for this time and this place. Over the next 5 weeks we’ll explore how God is crafting you into exactly who you are meant to be. We’ll begin this Sunday by looking at Ephesians 1:1-14. If you have an opportunity spend a few minutes reading through our text before Sunday morning. Also, thank you to Pastor Morris for leading us in worship this past week.
As we come out of the Christmas season remember that many of our ministries are starting to ramp back up. This year we’re excited about a new ministry beginning for women called Comfy Baggage. Ladies, I encourage you to check it out. It’s a six week journey created and led by Susie Dixon, our Director of Outreach. Together you will spend time examining the “baggage” that we all carry around with us from past relationships, unhealthy expectations, and more. Then you’ll hear from scripture how you can find healing and strength as you move beyond the baggage and find freedom in Jesus. Comfy Baggage will begin Tuesday, January 14th at 6:45pm. I hope you can make it.
I’m looking forward to being with you again on Sunday. In our week away Sam, the boys, and I had a great time celebrating Christmas and the New Year with family. We want to say thank you for all of the gracious Christmas cards we received. They are just one of the ways the church here at Fuller loves well. As this New Year starts, we are also excited to let you know that this year we are expecting to add to our family as Sam is 12 weeks pregnant. God is good!
See you Sunday.
Grace and Peace,
