Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been celebrating Fuller Ave. Church’s 90th birthday. Back in 1925 we began as an outpost of a church on the growing side of Grand Rapids. A lot happened in that year – Scotch Tape was first invented, the Chrysler Corporation was founded, and The Great Gatsby was first published. But more importantly Fuller began to reach out with the Gospel to our members and our neighbors and we continue to reach out today.
To help celebrate our history and cast purpose towards our future join us this Saturday for a great party in the parking lot. If you haven’t signed up yet, don’t let that stop you. Come on out and enjoy some great food, fun games, and share a laugh. The program will begin at 3:00pm and food will be served at 3:30. Games, a photo booth, and line dancing will follow. You do not want to miss it!
We hope you can join us on Sunday too as we wrap up our celebration by looking at God’s Promised Future for us as a church. Together we’ll look at Isaiah 42:5-9 and 14-17. If you have a moment spend just a minute or two reading these verses. On Sunday we’ll see how God challenges us to build upon our pasts and live into the future He has for us.
I look forward to seeing you this weekend!
Grace and Peace,
